In section 3.1 of the TOS, you state that it is prohibited to post any information about roms. However, from my knowledge, game roms are only illegal if you do not own a hard copy of the game itself. Does that mean we can speak out about it we do own the real thing? If not, what about videoing ourselves playing the game (as a rom), uploading to youtube and linking to it on the forum, is that allowed?

There are many misconceptions about this topic across the web. A ROM (or Read-Only Memory) is often an acronym used by gaming websites to describe copied data from an authentic game cartridge or device. One popular misconception is that it is legal to download a game ROM if the person downloading the material owns an authentic, legal copy. U.S. law has prohibited this, and it has been illegal since 1983. Our Terms of Service (and your account with ZetaBoards) is over-seen by the laws of The United States of America. For this reason the discussion of read-only memory devices or files is prohibited from being discussed on any board hosted by ZetaBoards.

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a good source to research if you're interested in this topic.

This question appears to be about ZetaBoards support. It's now been moved to the appropriate ZetaBoards support section. Thank you.
