Hi, I have spent a long time looking around in your forums for some advice but I don't seem to be able to find anything. I am one half of an admin team on an Invisionfree forum and we have both decided we'd like to convert to Zetaboards, however I don't understand how this works or how to do it. ![]() Can anyone help me? I'd really appreciate it! |

See http://if.invisionfree.com/topic/5074747/1/#new Remember that if you do decide to opt to move to Zetaboards that this is a one way process, you will not be able to revert to InvisionFree If you do convert, you won't have to do anything as it's automatic and your existing invisionfree forum url will permanently transfer to the new Zeta url If you have not already done so I would advise registering a test board in Zeta so that you know what the differences are etc before converting. Any custom skins you have with InvisionFree will not be compatible with Zeta - this will also apply to some codes you may be using You'll be able to find themes for Zeta and codes for Zeta at the Resource Board http://resources.zetaboards.com/index/ |

Also, currently only the board owner can choose to convert to ZetaBoards. Other admins will be allowed to do so in the future on all boards where the board owner hasn't explicitly chosen to opt out. |

Yes, however I encourage you to read through this documentation thoroughly to ensure your board is prepared: http://docs.zetaboards.com/conversion.

Once the board owner clicks on "Convert to ZetaBoards" in the Admin CP menu, he/she will be shown another screen (see attached image). The third option, "Opt out. Do not convert my board to the new service." allows the board owner to explicitly opt out. (The board owner may change his/her mind later, but the other board admins will not get to override the owner's decision to opt out.) |

When I convert to zetaboards, my forum is corrupted font. It can not display utf-8 fonts correctly anymore. Now I'm very depressed  |

That's a bit odd. InvisionFree uses ISO-8859-1. Converted boards keep that encoding as posts would be broken otherwise. |
