Board Address: http://s11.zetaboards.com/end_of_neutrality

Board Software: ZetaBoards

Description: something that will allow me to change the color of the text that is able to be edited through the Admin CP > Board Customization > Preferences > Topics & Posts > Prefixes. The things that allow you to edit the text for pinned, moved and closed topics. I would like to be able to change their color and when messing around with it neither bb code nor the <span> type codes will work to change it.

Is it possible to make a code that will allow me to change the color that those words come up in so that they stand out a bit more on my forums? If there is some other way to change it such as through the boards CSS code then I will do that instead if someone could tell me how.

Being able to change those through the Admin CP the way you would want it isn't something practical. However, I can write something that will change them without being terribly difficult to edit. You can also always ask questions or give me specifications so that I can edit it accordingly for you.
If you want them all to be styled the same (Moved, Pinned etc) then that can be done quickly through your CSS. If you want different styles, we'll have to resort to the method above.

i currently have them set to say

MOVED:
STICKY:
POLL:

I like the format they are in. I just want to be able to change their color. It doesn't stand out well as it is with the skin I have and would like them to be color #a5e3f0 This is the text color and bold if possible.

I like having them the styles I have them. If the colors and bolding can be changed through my css that is fine. I am better with HTML4 than with CSS so i don't wanna chance doing it myself without being told where to change it and how.

Changing it with a simple edit in the CSS is fine with me.

Did you want them all to change to the same color or would you like them to have different colors?

Styles of the text you refer to:
Quote:

.c_cat-title {
Insert CSS Properties Here
}
Styles of all the other text:
Quote:

.description, .cat-pageshead {
Insert CSS Properties Here
}

the first one changed the text of all topic titles. I couldn't tell what the second one did. I think he wanted it to just change the text of the moved/sticky/poll topic titles.

if I could add onto the request, I'd like to edit just the part where it says moved/sticky/poll before the topic title, but not the title itself.

what he wants: Moved: I like pie!

what I want: Moved: I like pie!

First and most importantly "she" not "he"

Second I want to change the color of the prefix not the entire title. as it says in my first post and the post title. I want the Prefix such as the examples below changed to a different color and bolded.

my forum background is deep gray so upon completion it would result in it appearing as follows...

MOVED: Title of topic

PINNED: Title of topic

POLL: Title of topic

sorry to hijack your topic, get your gender wrong, AND get your request wrong! I screwed up all over the place! :P

HOWEVER, I wanted exactly what you wanted, so that makes two happy campers. :)
