Simple suggestion that I wouldn't mind seeing added. Simply add those with assigned forums (this forum is moderated by: whoever) to the Administrator and Moderator team list under a new category "Forum Moderators" under "Global Moderators". Beside it there would be a drop down list of the forums they moderate. Similar to the feature on phpBB3 and many other forum packages. |

That feature we already had until the latest ZB Upgrade. But I could go even deeper, why not having possibility to put whatever we want to the Admin List? Whatever category (with our own custom title) and any, chosen by us, separated, single users or whole groups under it? |

I really miss having this on our board. It helped show members who was moderating certain boards since we have so many sections and moderators on our forum. This feature is probably the biggest priority for our board. It shows that our sectional moderators are apart of the staff, but if they are missing from the list then it will make them feel like they aren't apart of the team.

Yeah, it's something I somewhat miss as well. I have various members moderating various forums for various reasons. RP, Database, Scoreboards, etc. Would be nice to have that overall list back. |

As for now there is no any ETA for the next ZB Upgrade, so this feature probably again will be forgotten

It would be nice to be able to decide what groups show up on the page, not just those users with moderator permissions. MyBB has an option in their Group settings to decide if a group is shown on the Forum Team page or not. Could/Would that be done here? |

There comes a point where options are excessive. Yes, you could have an option for every group and every individual user for every imaginable function on the board. You could. Is it wise to? No, not in the least. Should it be? No. ZetaBoards prides itself for being very user friendly. It's simple to learn how to do things, and easy to remember. It's also very easy to troubleshoot problems. If you have an option for everything in 6 different places (as you seem to advocate) - it becomes convoluted, confusing, and difficult to offer support for without always getting Admin CP access. But it would also allow all the customization you seem to want. More unique things can be accomplished through third party codes and modifications (like adding individual users to the staff page. Why create a ZB feature for that? Let Brandon do big things. Just ask for one line of jQuery on ZNR.) As it stands, you have been told that individual forum moderators will return to the staff page. When that happens is up to Brandon. |
