Well with this being one of the only skins that's actually visable to me (i can't view s14) i think i'll tell you what i think you can improve on. Your maintitle is very nice, i love the way it looks glossy and it flows with the rest of the skin very nicely. However, the text could be improved slightly and this is very slightly. In my oppinion you should make the maintitle text slightly darker, at the moment it starts to fade out towards the bottom of the text, because it starts to blend in with the maintitle as the maintitle gets darker when it goes down. By the way, when i mean slightly, i do mean slightly, just enough so it's more visable should be fine. Your titlemedium gradient is nice and so is your text, but i dislike the white line (light blue line?) that runs after the bump (the part that is a different colour near the top of the titlemedium), in my oppinion it makes the titlemedium and the maintitle seem bad quality, so i suggest that you take that line off. The same applies for the pformstrip. Your rows look pretty nice and it's nice to see you used row borders, but in my oppinion the darker row (sorry, i can never remember which one is which) shouldn't be the same colour as the background colour, it just makes the skin seem more flat than it has to be, i would make it slightly lighter, but make sure it's still darker than the other row colour. I honestly hate that you used the same gradient for the darkrow 2 that you used for the titlemedium. I would either flip the darkrow 2 gradient vertical, or make a new gradient with simaler colours, but instead it should go (bottom, to top), a colour slightly darker than the background colour, fading into a colour slightly darker than your lighter row colour. When you use the same gradient used for the titlemedium on the darkrow 2 to, it takes away alot of flow from the skin. Again, like the on the maintitle i think the text should be slightly darker on the submenu, for the same reasons that i think it should be darker for the maintitle. I would make the quote and code boxes different colours, maybe make one slightly darker than your post colour and the other slightly lighter than your post colour. I like your borders on the quote and code by the way. I would make your darkrow 3 so it flows into the post one and two, to do this i would either; flip it vertically, or make the gradient go from, a colour slightly darker than your background colour, to a colour slightly darker than your post one and two (bottom, to top). I would make your active user strip gradient have a border around it, at the moment it looks poor quality at the top of it, i would add a border around it that's the same colour as your table border colour. It's nice to see that you added a gradient to the caldate, but it doesn't flow very well, because the same two gradients are next to each other, i suggest using a split gradient for it, or a flip the current caldate gradient the other way around. Your portal isn't very visable, i would use some javascript to fix this, i would make the table colour the same colour as your lighter row colour. Nic will probably tell you to use a div though to fix it. I don't like how your copyright looks like it's beveled out, i would just add a normal border around it, maybe one that's the same colour as your table border colour. I would make the text on the line that your copyright on centred, you can do this by adding another class (.maintitle, etc...) to your css and adding the coding to get it centred and add the gradient to that and the border, it shouldn't show up, or atleast it doesn't in internet explorer, then you simply change the td class to the new class you just made. I would of loved to look at your post page, but it wasn't visable to guests, so i never. I'm lazy like that. Overall it's a beautiful skin, but has a few things that could be improved. Keep it up Steve. |

![]() The tips are greatly appreciated, and will come in handy for my next skin. I'm pretty comfortable with the way this skin looks though. Nicola, I did what you said by using that code, thanks.

I didn't edit your post O_o Steve you need to set a background colour for those areas now, use DEECF5 ![]() Oh and your medium link colour is still default. Look in your inbox and you can see the dark medium link colour, and where the gradient repeats

I think its a great looking OSS, only thing that truely bothers me is the submenu. What you could try to do is use a special submenu, I think it would definitely make it gallery worthy. |

Then a special submenu is what I'll do, just give me a day or two.
