Kay so. This is the second time I've made this site (the first time I had a login/register problem that I couldn't sort) and I really don't want to have to create it again. So I enter a post, then click "Post new topic" or "Add reply" or whatever. Then a board message comes up saying 'You mut enter a post' - when I clearly just have. This has been going on for a while and no-ones even bothered to help yet. I can't find a contact email for IF or anything, so this is kinda my last chance. Please, I really need help with this. Here's the site. If you want to see it for yourself, go in the Advertising forum - guests can post in there: http://z7.invisionfree.com/Only_Human2/index.php?act=idx |

It looks like you may have some issues with your permission masks. Can you open a support ticket from the Admin CP of your board? Let me know if you don't see that option when you're logged in to your admin CP. Brian |

It seems we cannot. However, this issue is most likely caused by a JavaScript code you have added to your board conflicting with one used by the software. You can try removing all codes, and then add them back one at a time until you find the culprit.

I'm not seeing the ticket you opened. Do you have the title you included when you opened the ticket? |

...Really? *checks* ...God dammit. *edits* Anyway, when you say codes... do you mean like the header, CSS etc? Or is it somewhere else? (I'm new to IF xP Sorry) I guess I can try changing the skin or something, but I don't know if that's what you mean... Sorry for being stoopid xD (@Brian) Sorry, I didn't open one yet xD Apologies, I've opened it now. Edited by Whispers..x, Aug 25 2010, 12:16 PM.

Now I remember the issue. There is an un-closed <form> tag in your sidebar. ![]() It would be advisable to make sure all tags are closed correctly, in the right order. |

Okay. Following a hint from someone on the support ticket I removed the sidebar and, lo and behold, I was allowed to post again and it also cleared up the recent problem of people not being able to register/log in. So, in light of that, how can I put it back in without it being screwed up? And also, a nudge in the direction of this form tag would be appriciated. But thanks, you've really helped so far

Find this section:
Remove the <form> tag and the < on the line after it. |
