www.uklongrange.com is the site i am on about i have edited the default css file to create my own skin. the trouble is now i dont have a copy off the original file so if anybody has one please let me have a copy secondly i would like to give the board users the choice of skin , i am not sure how to do this also the css file i edited i would like to rename it, so it gives it a reccongnisable name on the skin selecter . how do you rename these files please any general info on this subject as well please i have used the search bttn but only found topics relating to zeta boards |

The default style sheet: http://if.invisionfree.com/topic/6774. You will be required to use a third party modification for this, as the built in skin selector was disabled due to issues a long time ago. Have a look at our resources board for assistance in finding a modification to suit your needs: http://resources.zetaboards.com/index/. |

Thanks for that, how do i actually name the css file i have already and where/ how do i install another skin option unless it is simply copy and paste it under the other css file in the Manage Style Sheets section this is a copy of my css file Spoiler: click to toggle // Added spoiler to reduce scroll height. i cant see anywhere i can edit the name for it please help this is keeping me up at night thanks mark Edited by Tony, Sep 3 2010, 06:49 PM.

If you have located a JavaScript modification, there should be instructions on how to use it. Normally you need to save a .css file with the style-sheet as its contents; upload it; and then add it into the code. Our resources board I linked you to previously may be able to assist better with the modification. If you haven't, then there is no way for you to name the style-sheet; nor add an additional style-sheet into the same text area. As CSS cascades, the second set of rules will over-right the first. |

ok so leading on from that then , if you have for arguments sake 3 skin options where/ how do you store all off these in the .css section or are they stored else where, some where i havent found yet |

You would be using a third party modification. The way most of them work is they ask you to externally host the CSS, and from there you just edit in the address of the hosted CSS according to the instructions. Give one of these a try and if you can't find what you're looking for, feel free to open a code request.
