two (simple) features zetaboards could benefit from

Just as a general member of zetaboards forums, there's a couple of features which I think could really enhance the user experience. Both of these would be generally simple to add via php. I'm not sure (but doubt) if they're possible with javascript.

Firstly: A lot of themers will make one forum, and have it containing all of their themes. That same forum will be used for a sort of personal gallery, etc. But browsing and looking at themes, you click on a link. And when you go to the form, you have to select the theme. This small feature may already be possible, but have an area where the theme can be specified by url.

For instance, right now, I get ?type=1&mode=1&f=1000065. It would be pretty easy to check for an "&theme=$num", where $num= id of default theme/user theme, if none is specified. It might take a bit more in terms of navigation, but for just an index thing for a quick look, it could be nice.

The other thing, is the list of users posts. It has a list of all the months, seperated by years. But it's very easy to click on one of those, and get the message
Quote:

No posts found
No posts made this month.
Return to month by month listing
.

Why are months that provide an empty list even listed? it's not very user friendly. Or even if there was a button like, "list all", where that poor user interface doesn't really matter.

The second suggestion is by far more important I think, where the other would merely be nice for forums and such which specialize in themes.

You can easily get the theme ID by the last number of the URL when editing the theme in the Admin CP, or you can search through the page source (if you have Firefox or possible Chrome) and find something like this:
Code: HTML

<td id="foot_themechooser"><form action="http://if.invisionfree.com/index/" method="post"><input type="hidden" name="r" value="post/?mode=2&type=2&f=1000065&t=5098062&p=8264530&qhash=6a14f944a215bef8d0012258329e9f46" /><input type="hidden" name="r2" value="c2064a05746407e724d57ef34b87c417" /><label for="setskin">Choose a theme:</label> <select name='setskin' id='setskin' >
<option value='6'>InvisionFree Redux</option>
<option value='142'>Summer Theme</option>
<option value='63'>ZB Midnight</option>

<option value='5' selected="selected">Zeta Original</option>
</select>

The theme ID will be the "option value='THEME ID'".
