All right, this is my first time ever posting here. I haven't posted a link to my board, because I need the permission of the other admin to do that and she's not currently online, and I also think that I can be descriptive enough so that it shouldn't be necessary. If it is necessary, let me know and I will contact her to ask her. But I'm just so frustrated right now that I'm nearly in tears, so . . . Okay, so here's the deal: I was trying to reorganize our forum. Basically, I was creating new categories, new forums within those categories, and then moving topics into them. Whenever I would go to move a topic, I would be presented with the option of: "Leave a link to the new topic in the source forum?" I understood this to mean that there would be TWO links: one in the new forum, and one in the forum in which the topic was originally posted. Since I don't see the sense in having two links, I hit "no" for each and every topic that I moved -- and believed me, I moved a LOT of topics. Now, however, only a couple of the topics are showing up -- those that I accidentally clicked "yes" on. This is a HUGE problem, because we both care for our work and want to be able to access it easily. The topics are quite obviously still there -- the topic and post count for each forum display that, as well as the fact that if you click the "Last Posted" link to get to the last hidden topic within the forum, you can then click "last oldest" in order to get back to one of the other topics. So, obviously, we CAN still access them, but it would be nice to have each topic link visible and plain within the forum that it's been moved to. Additionally, if I move one of the hidden topics to another forum, it doesn't show up at all. It plain just does not want to show up wherever I move it even if I click "Yes" before moving it. And, yes, it DID show up before I moved it. I don't know what to do. I've been in each topic, and none of the moderation options seem to fix this. I've also combed through my Admin CP. Like I said, I'm frustrated to the point of tears, it's two thirty in the morning, this is midterms week and I'm freaking out over here because I don't want her to think that I accidentally deleted all of our stuff when I didn't -- it's still there, only now it's nigh impossible to get to because for some reason the topic links aren't showing up. Please help. If I need to explain the problem more clearly I can, although I hope it's clear enough as it stands. Nevermind, I fixed it myself. I was being an idiot. Midterms must REALLY be getting to me. Thanks anyway, guys. Edited by Scrawlers, Mar 2 2011, 04:36 AM.
