Does anyone remember this old show? What are some thoughts as to why Murdock never seeems to die? He's been thrown off a cliff, trowned in the river, caught in an explosion, etc. and he never dies! |

MacGyver was that guy that could make bombs out of potatoes or something. He never left home without duct tape. http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowM...let/showid-706/ |

Why did he not leave the house without duct tape.......was he a hardwares man or a warehouse packer or something LOL and how on earth is it possible for someone to make a bomb from a potatoe The best I could do is from a bottle of beer with a piece of string attached to it, which is set alight causing an explosion |

Oh man what a great show. You probably have to be atleast 18-21 to remember it and I think it was only on in the US. Anyway a quick synopsis was he was a semi detective guy that never used a gun. So he'd end up beating these bad guys by rigging up some sort of random device. It always seemed to involve like a paper clip, some chewing gum, and a match. Combined with other stuff he'd find it would end up blowing up something or incapacitating all the bad guys. I think you can still catch reruns on USA or TNT. ~Brian |

I think you might have mixed up McGyver and The A-Team there. McGyver was one of the great sets of programs in the early 80's. Along with The A-Team, Airwolf, The Incriedible Hulk, The Dukes of Hazard, Wonder Woman, and You Can't Do That On Television . . . .. Ahhh . . . . the heyday of good TV programs . . . . |
