Posted Image Design your own version of imageless by vcd.
imageless converted for ZetaBoards by Cory & Helena

Reid, one of the most notorious of the coding gurus of the Zathyus Networks, has devised an innovative theme generator specifically for converting vcd's popular Imageless theme into the color palette of your choice.
[The code for the original conversion of Imageless can be found HERE.]

What does this generator do?

By adjusting sliders for Hue, Lightness, and Saturation, you can design your own colored version of this brilliantly designed theme. The beauty of the slider system is that the values of the original design are preserved so the color arrangement will remain logical and consistent throughout all palettes. You can't mess it up! (Unless you make an eye-burner by blowing out the saturation.)

Once you have adjusted to the finished result, the generator offers you the CSS that will produce your selection, the layout coding, and an image macros map so that you can input the "images" into your ACP. Just copy and paste, and your custom theme will be reality on your own board.

Banner Edit: A text banner is automatically inserted in the theme and may be edited in the theme layout.

We'd love to see what you come up with. We encourage you to post a screen shot here of your finished result.
[Reset to original colors: H:199 -- S:75 -- L:35]

Here are a couple of suggested palettes:
CoolGrayscale: H:190 -- S:4 -- L:36

vcd has given permission for this imageless theme (in all its glorious generated versions) to be used as a Base Theme and be customized as needed.

We thank him for this gift to the community. :)

More skins need to have this option but it seems to be a lot of work though so it's pretty understandable why they don't have it haha.

The problem with having a color changer for a theme is that most themes are absolutely chock-full of images, which we can't easily edit through JavaScript. I once contemplated creating a full-blown serverside applet to change the colors for entire themes like this, but that's a lot more work (and it's not even guaranteed to look decent with gradients and shadows). So, as far as what we can do with ZetaBoards only, we're limited to themes that don't have images in them.

So far, I am only aware of two themes that do not have images in them for ZetaBoards. This is one of them. :P

This is a great customiser, and thank you to all who have created it and made it possible for us to use here.
However, is there a way to get the tables to show the line dividers as per the factory default for the forum settings? Much easier to read. Or just a standard theme in Hue 215, Saturation 50 and Lightness 27 would do well. My forum was recently converted from Invisionfree/Zif to Zetabaords and had that colour scheme which got reset to the default Zeta Original in the convertion. I am trying to recreate the previous appearance as much as I can. Any help much appreciated.

M is for Mod

Welcome to the ZetaBoards family. I hope you enjoy the transition and the increased customization flexibility it offers.

You can add the border element to the td in your Theme Appearance (CSS) It's a few lines down from the top. Or you can just add this snippet at the bottom of the page so that its easy to find later:

Code:

/* adds borders to tables */
td {
border:1px solid #4276BF;
}

I just picked an arbitrary color. You can change the hex number to whatever color you wish.

If you want someone to help you find a theme in your color pallete, you can post a request in the Graphics Request forum.
