Source I haven't seen the Google Ad's in some time now. These ads are ugly, flashy and often irrelevant to the content of the board. They also resize themselves so they don't fit the ad area correctly: screenshot. There isn't even a simple way of moving the ads to a more suitable location. They are often slow loading as well with 7 external scripts to call and run. I understand that Zetaboards is kept running from ad revenue but these ads are not what is stated in the documentation. What was wrong with the Google ads? You had them for years during the Invisionfree period. Have you're costs increased since? I would like an explanation of the situation and reasons why these kind of ads are being used. Thank you |

What I found amusing:  But really, the ads are largely uncontrollable. If there are any specific ads which you feel are inappropriate or slow, you can submit a support ticket, referencing the URL of the ad, and a screenshot of it.  Jonathan

I think that the ads can get annoying. I suggest Zathyus uses a different program that's text only or something.

I do have to agree that the ads lately have been mainly flash-orientated. The bizarre thing is, since reading this topic, all I'm seeing are text-based google ads... |
