Making it so certain groups can view certain forums

Making it so certain groups can view certain forums; Having a bit of trouble.

Hello there, I seem to be having a problem. I would like to make it so that certain groups can view certain forums but I'm not really sure how to do this. For example I am setting up a forum to do with Tribal Wars (the game) and i would like to make it to the group "Ally" can only view certain forums for example "Alliance Discussion". I have created a group for the "Ally's" and created the forum, but i cannot seem to make it so that the Ally's can only view the Alliance Discussion forum. Instead they can view all the forums for example "members discussion". Sorry if this is poorly worded, finding it hard to explain it haha. Thanks. bump? A usergroup is basically a way of organizing your users, and each usergroup will allow users to access different features of the board depending on what you specify. When it comes to letting users see and post in different forums, you need to customize a "Permission Set". To do this, go to the Forum Access section of your Admin CP, and Create a new permission set. Tick the boxes of the forums you'd like the user to read and post in. VIEW lets users using this permission set see the forum exists. READ lets users read topics within the forum. REPLY lets users reply to existing topics within the forum. START lets users start new topics within the forum. UPLOAD lets users upload attachments to their posts within that forum. Once you're finished, go back to the Groups section of your Admin CP, edit "Ally's" group, and set the Group Permissions option to the Permission Set you've just created. Jonathan
