*edits* Crumpy, this isn't the Zetaboards section, but you can use the "flash" code on your board. Edited by Shiarrael, May 7 2011, 10:27 PM.

As Shiarrael said, ZetaBoards has a [flash] BBCode tag for embedding flash in posts. All you need to do is enter the URL to the video. With YouTube, all you have to do is enter the URL to the page the video is on; with other services, like Vimeo, you need to do a little extra work. Click on the "embed" option for your Vimeo video. They will display a code you can use; make sure it is the "old" code and not the new one (the old one has an object tag). For example:
You want the part in the [font-courier]<param name="movie" value="..."[/font] tag. That's the URL to the flash file, and you put it in between the flash BBCode tags:
The numbers 400 and 225 specify the width and the height of the video, respectively. The end product should look like this: |

Ahaaa! Thanks Ben. I tried this exact process but couldn't figure out which part of the embed code I needed to use. I Thought I'd tried every likely possible selection but obviously not. |
