Alphabetic Ordering?

I'm starting a forum and I need a special modification for my forum that basically allows me to take multiple entries, in this case different video games, and order them into a A-Z system that allows me to I.E. click the letter H to show or filter games that start with H, Halo.

I don't know what this would be called or if such a thing exists on ZB. If anyone could give me some tips or help me out, it will be greatly appreciated.

One solution to this would to be create a Games forum with all the entries as different topics then in the forum settings set the display order to topic title, ascending.

Or you can use something similar to this:
Code:

<script type="text/javascript">
$(function(){$("#games_wrap span").click(function(e){var id = $(this).attr("id");$("#list_wrap div").hide();$("#"+id+"_games").show();});});
</script>
<style type="text/css">
#games_wrap span { margin: 1px; padding: 3px; border: 1px solid #ccc; background: #f0f0f0; }
#list_wrap { margin: 3px; padding: 5px; border: 1px solid #ccc; background: #f0f0f0; }
</style>
<div id="games_wrap">
<span id="a"><a href="#">A</a></span>
<span id="b"><a href="#">B</a></span>
<span id="c"><a href="#">C</a></span>
</div>
<br />
<div id="list_wrap">
<div id="a_games"><b>A:</b><br />some thing here like loads of different games</div>
<div id="b_games"><b>B:</b><br />all the games for b can be here</div>
<div id="c_games"><b>C:</b><br />all of the games for c can here</div>
</div>

That only has a-c but you can all the other letters by copying and pasting the other ones and changing the id attributes and the contents of each div. :)

Alright, any ideas how I could put this inside sections. Like if they go in and click a certain section, then it'll take them to the list of threads but show this alphabetical set up at the top? Oh and how could I code links into it? I'm not very good at this. I need like for instance, under B if I had the game Black Ops, then you could click a link under that named "Black Ops" and it'll take you straight to the corresponding thread.
