Hi, Is it possible to prevent an Admin Assistant from accessing a certain sub-forum on your board? I'm interested in appointing several trusted admin assistants that are global moderators for my board, but I'd like to prevent them from accessing a sub-forum meant for only the leaders to see. I would like to appoint them because of their then-convenient ability to handle applications to the forum. My problem seems to be that the Admin Assistant can grant anybody any forum mask that they want, one of which has access to the leaders forum. I tried making it so that nobody could see the leaders leaders forum, then giving myself moderator abilities for that forum, except I couldn't see it. Is there a way I could make this work? If so, how might I do that? Thanks, Scruff |

Admin assistants who have Member Manager access can edit any member's account and apply a new permission mask to that user. Regrettably, this means that any member manager can edit their own account to see what goodies you have hiding in your hidden forum. There's no way to prevent this because of the powers that are granted to these types of admin assistants. That said, any other type of admin assistant wouldn't be able to do this. |
