[Solved] shoutbox problem

Member Posts: 16 Group: Members Member #196,574 Joined: March 26, 2011	Hi I am not sure if this is the right place to place this question but here it is Every time I place a post in my shoutbox I get a x be hide it. and when I place a shout on another board that x was there also. but no one eles have an x ---do anyone know what this can be about and how to correct it--also when I post on the board if it is a word that is attached to a emotion/smiley then that smiley replace the word which is annoying----do I have the emotion section set wrong? have anyone heard of these two problems I am having and is there anyone that can help see here thank you for your help in advance

You can delete your own shout(s), and on a forum where you have moderator privileges, you can delete others' shouts. It's just a tool for moderation of the shoutbox. The emoticon/smiley is placed into the shout as the shout is essentially like posting in a forum. I do not believe that there is an option to disable emoticons in the shoutbox. To prevent this from happening, you would have to remove the emoticons from the board, but that would also remove them from being used in posts.

Member Posts: 16 Group: Members Member #196,574 Joined: March 26, 2011	Thank you for your reply---I figured out the smiley problem---I change the names that did not make a word --that way it would not pop up -so that is solved. The x I get it now but why do the x appear when I post on another site shoutbox but the other member on that same site do not have the x ^o) and by the way I love your avatar
