Due to the increase in mobile browsing, would it be better to make your theme or designs mobile friendly or even making a mobile version?

Well there's someone already making a mobile theme for Zetaboards (Link)

But personally I'll just stick to creating forum designs for the computer monitors :P but if it's a normal website design then yeah I would make it mobile friendly (sometimes)

Would it be incorrect of me to say that any OSS theme would be fine on a phone?

When I think of mobile themes, I think of not having to resize the screen in order to see fonts and categories clearly.

Mobile CSS :r
Code:

@media handheld {
Mobile CSS here { }
}
@media only screen and (max-device-width: 1020px) {
iPhone only @media-handheld CSS adjustments here { }
}
But I've seen mobile devices do well on full themes. So I'd say it's not necessary.

It's probably good to support mobile devices, but it's probably least of your worries. I've personally never bothered supporting mobile devices and I doubt I plan to.

I'd prefer if the software itself supported mobile devices better.

Anybody seen my mobile theme? The index is almost done I suppose, just need to do the pmtoast and I can start the login/register pages. Yep that's right, I gotta carefully do this page by page, can't just rely on it to be styled right.

I'm not much of a designer, but I think having a basic mobile theme with a color changer (like Reid made) would be nice for mobile devices. I don't think that EFS style themes would work out well on a mobile device, especially if its filled with a lot of coding. At this point, simple seems like it would work. :)
