Alright, I seem to have this problem on my forum. One of my members told me that they couldn't register on my forum. So I tried it myself and when I click "Register" I am redirected to the rules page that I have to agree to, I click agree and it shows the registration page, but then just disappears. I don't know why this is happening, but I just re-opened the forum from a while ago, and I do not need this on my forum. Is it something I did, and can be fixed? Please help! Regards, Harper Http://www.ThatTechKid.com Edited by Harperboy326, Jun 22 2011, 07:25 PM.

Hmm. I have tried loading your registration page in both Firefox and Chrome, and it loads fine for me. To be clear: you click "I Agree" and then it loads the page with the registration form. Then immediately after loading, the page goes blank? It doesn't redirect you elsewhere (the URL stays the same)? This happens before you fill out and submit the form? |

Alright, I click on [Register] , Click on "I agree" , then I can see the registration form, but then I see this: Spoiler: click to toggle URL on page with rules: http://s4.zetaboards.com/ThatTechKid2/register/ URL after I click I agree: http://s4.zetaboards.com/ThatTechKid2/register/?c=1 However, I can sign in just fine.. and it works fine in Firefox Edited by Harperboy326, Jun 22 2011, 07:35 PM.

Hmm. Weird that I'm not seeing it. Also makes it difficult to troubleshoot. Go to the Preferences page of your Admin CP, click on Security, and set "Enable additional protection against spambots?" to No. Then check if this problem still occurs. |

Whoa, it worked when I turned off the spambot. However, I am using chrome and it didn't work before, but I jumped on to Firefox, and it worked great.. Also, could you help me with my domain name? |

So to clarify, disabling the spambot protection means the registration form works again, even in Chrome? (I just want to make sure I have the details right so I can report this to our developer.)
What do you need? |

Yes, before I disabled it, It didn't work in Chrome, but I tried in Firefox before disabling the spambot and it worked. I didn't try in IE, because..well I haven't had it on my computer in 4 years. When I disabled it, it worked in Chrome. But what is weired is I had two people from Twitter join in the last 2 days and they did. Could it be just me? and I bought a domain name for my forum some time ago and it works, because if you type in "ThatTechKid.com", it goes to the forum. However, in the address bar, it shows different. Also, when I head into a new forum on my board, it doesn't keep the "www.ThatTechKid.com/balh/blah" as I head deeper into the forum. It keeps my subdomain that I got with my ZetaBoard. I didn't pay to buy a domain name for it only to redirect me, then go back to the subdomain. Can I fix this? |

Please follow the steps in our GoDaddy setup instructions. Make sure you disable any other form of redirection you have set up in your GoDaddy domain control panel. Let me know if you run into problems with any of the steps. If not, wait a few hours. When the changes take effect, you should see a message saying, "This domain is pointing to s4.zetaboards.com but is not currently set up for a board" when you visit your domain. Then you can add your domain to your Admin CP's Domain Manager. |

Thank you for the little tutorial So this will allow me to always have "ThatTechKid.com" in the address bar, and keep the hierarchy in the URL as I go into forums?

Yes. Don't forget to set it as the Primary Domain in your board's Domain Manager.
