Description: (What you want your code to do)

I have been using this code to show the top poster and total posts in my board statistics.

But since the AJAX restrictions are not there this no longer works. Can anyone of you re-make a similar codes which combats this and is able to make it work?

To quote Cory,

Cory

It may be possible with PHP/MySQL, but it's not possible with JavaScript since it can only be done with AJAX on pages it's restricted on. I doubt the AJAX restrictions will go away unless Brandon finds some type of workaround that will not put such a strain on servers. The API, once released, may give you better options that allow you to do stuff like this, but I'm not entirely certain since I've never used an API. It's unlikely that anyone would fill this request since most PHP/MySQL requests are denied and the staff don't really do them, you would have to rely on the members.

So, I would be grateful if one of you members can fulfill the request.

Thanks.

We don't support php/mySQL coding. It's impractical to do.

This request was deemed impractical by our code team. This could mean that the feature you have requested is impossible to write, requires PHP and/or hosting, or requires too many AJAX requests. If you have any questions about why this request is not practical, feel free to contact a member of the code team.
