A suggest for the merge threads.

Perhaps, you have two threads, one with 100 posts and one with 10 posts. You want to merge it. But you don't want to break all the links to the 100-post thread. So perhaps when you merge it, the new thread gets the thread ID (the numbers) of the larger one. So it doesn't break the link. Please reply if you like this. :)

I thought you can control which thread stays and which is added in. Or was that IF only?

If you mean the merged threads should retain both thread IDs, I would agree with the suggestion.

You don't control which thread stays, cvn. A new thread, with a new id, is created from the two merged threads.

I do like this idea. :)

Yeah. Because it's a pain when you have a link and it breaks because of merging a thread.
