Board Address: (www.koisense.net)
Board Software: (ZetaBoards)
Description: (Translate the page)

My forum will be accessed by overseas members, particularly Dutch and Japanese, so having the facility to change the language is important.

I've looked at the translation code currently available: translate - the problem is that it sends the site back to the login page each time - translates the login page - and doesn't translate and board content.

Can anyone provide me with an alternative - maybe using Babelfish

I tried adding the code they provide, but it takes me to the babelfish site, rather than translating my page.

Many thanks
Stephen

Thank you for the swift response, that works exactly as I want it to.

Can I push my luck a bit further...?

It currently sits below the Navigation link.

How can I add it to the left of the submenu (?) that contains Search, Members, Calendar etc?

Or failing that, move it to the right of the page, on the same line as the navigation link?

If you can answer this, I'll be in heaven!!

Code:

<script type="text/javascript">
$("#google_translate_element").appendTo("#nav").css("float", "right");
</script>
That will add it to the right of the navigation bar.
Code:

<script type="text/javascript">
$("#google_translate_element").prependTo("#submenu").css("float", "left");
</script>
That will add it to the left of the submenu.

Stick either code below the code above.

This is a new board, and help like this has encouraged me that I made the right decision where to have it.
Thanks again.
