Hmm. It should actually run off of:Does it not for you? Do you have anything else over-ruling it? |

no results bro, my 'select' field has no background settings, and when I put one in there, nothing happens.. so I scanned the entire css with 'fff' lookn for something that might be related, and only came up with 'span.collapse,span.uncollapse', but that's not it either |

Okay, have a look for:..and note any background colour you have in there. Then have a look for: ..or similar. Make sure that both select and option have the same background colour. |

Oh, you're using images. You never said. xD To do that, you will need to remove the margin from option, and then bulk it out with padding. Or simply use a colour.

ok, thx Tony.. tried color but it also overwrites the window seen when the drop is closed so removing margins and adding padding it is then.. or opting to leave it white LOL |

Do you mean the select background? ![]() This is because you add colour to select, which also covers the background of the drop menu. You can colour option separately if you wish, and remove the margin to prevent the gaps. I would also recommend styling optgroup too, as the auto-tool menu's will look a little odd.

if I color option alone, it only covers the text areas - but I'd like to have the background the same color/transparency as the already collapsed window thx for the heads up on the optgroup bro ![]() how would I give my content and h2/h4 boxes feathered/rounded corners? |

Removing the margin on option should fix this. Add this in to your board template: ..where N is the size of the curve. The larger the number, the bigger the curve. You will likely also need to modify both .cat_head and .category, to remove borders. |

k, slappd it in the theme's layout, works, but the corners are now white.. any resolution to this (to take on it's native bg properties) optgroup; I was thinkn that might be the way to get the drop down bg's to cooperate, but I don't have anything like that in my css.. should I add it? when I removed the margin, all it did was close the gap between the option's drop down text - it did nothing to implement the needed bg

The canvas tag will become transparent, effectively inheriting the background colour of it's grandparent. I'm guessing as you have transparency everywhere, the canvas returns white (which is predefined in the script) instead. I don't know what can be done about this, as I'm no expert with JavaScript. ![]() Maybe someone on our resources board can assist: http://resources.zetaboards.com/index/ Yes. Anything not in your style sheet already can simply be added. ![]() And you added background colour to option? It should also inherit from select and, in theory, optgroup. |

thanks for that Tony, I posted @zResources and the 'cure' is to instead use the newer css3 abilities of
and no matter what I do with the select, option or optgroup parameters, seems it won't use my bg image.. could it be defined somewhere else that I'm overlooking? |
