are the support people really busy at the moment?

I sent a support ticket over 30 hours ago now and I'm still awaiting a reply....is this normal? :unsure:

Theme tickets, like the one you submitted, can take longer to investigate. Sometimes we need to test things on different web browsers, hence the delay. You should receive a response soon. :)

Not trying to deter the use of support tickets, but theme assistance topics on ZNR are generally answered within a matter of minutes or a few hours.

That rule has never been enforced that well, however. People basically use it for anything CSS related. :-/

There are some pretty excellent people heading up theme support on ZNR. It's terrific that people are using their knowledge of CSS to aid others, regardless of the venue. So whether it's a support ticket or the community at the resource board... seek help where you're most comfortable. There are benefits and downsides to each option.

Support tickets can be typically slower, but very accurate.
Community support can be much faster, but not always accurate.

That said, it looks like ZNR is offering precise theme support.

I know it's not for a forum setting and not practical, but OTRS is a great open-source ticket response system. :)

Right, but please know we can't encourage anything that isn't an official stream for support. Ultimately it's up to the user where they want to go, but once they leave our service we cannot guarantee accuracy or efficiency. Additionally, some services in the past have scammed users. Especially if those services request access to your board in any way.

For users of InvisionFree and ZetaBoards, it's best to seek help or resources from the sources that we provide.
