Is there a way to renumber members so the numbering matches with the amount of member on the forums?

If you are talking about the number found in the URL of each person's profile then no. There is a reason why it's like that but I don't think that reason was ever elaborated on.

I think you mean the member number found on the profile or mini profile correct?

In which case, not really. When you delete members, it messes with all that kind of stuff. There are codes out there I believe that can hide the group number altogether. But I don't think there are any codes that can actually fix that problem. You might open a support ticket. They might be able to reset everything. I'm not sure though.

Sorry that I can't be more help.

Each user that registers is assigned a specific member number, and that number is not re-assigned to another user if the previous member using it is deleted. It may be frustrating, but it is an accurate way on tracking the number of registrations on your board (as sometimes the member count in the board statistics can be thrown out).

Support Staff have tools that can fix any incorrect member totals, so feel free to send us a Support Ticket if you ever need the statistics to be re-counted. :)

Additionally, if you know when it started and what you were doing on the board at the time, that information would help us to track down statistics bugs, so please also include that in your ticket if you can. (If you can't, it's not a big deal, but it'd be useful.)
