Making Active Topics my home page

I actually have 2 request here. First is as the header describes. I would like to add the active topics page to the board front page. I would also like to offer on the pages the option for the members to choose which page they would like to use as their front page, exactly how they can choose the themes they see. Is this something someone has built or can build?

The second is hopfully easier, I would like to add some buttons to my portal area above my rolling post that link to a url, but cannot figure out how to do this. I apologize if this is in the wrong place. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It is not possible to make Active Topics your board's home page. You can only make the Board Index, Portal or a custom web page you made the home page on ZetaBoards. If you can find someone to make a code that somehow puts a similar Active Topics page set up on a custom web page, you can make that your home page. However, the Active Topics page itself cannot be the home page.

As for your second question, I'm unsure what you mean. What buttons do you want to place on your portal? Have you tried adding them to a Portal Content Block? You can make one by going into your Admin CP and clicking on Portal Settings on the left hand side.

Thanks for the info about the active topics issue.

My goal with the buttons is to have a set of new topic buttons on the portal, that will allow my visitors to post a new topic to each of the forums that I have available on my board. I have toyed with the portal box and can get the url for this to go on the board. I guess I just dont know how to make them buttons in the Portal Content Box. Thanks for any help.
