How do you Mass move topics out of the Trash Can, and put them back onto the forum itself?

The Trash Can feature only allows me to move one topic at a time back into the general forum, however, I have over 700 topics that need to be restored. Is there a way I can do this much more efficiently than one at a time? Also, I should note that I have tried to use the auto-tools to do it but was unable to (or could not figure it out).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Zarvarza

By default, trashed topics can only be restored 1 at a time.

You can leave feedback for our service developers by logging in to your admin CP and selecting the Feedback & Surveys link on the ZetaBoards Service menu.

I suggest in future you create your own board for the trash can and disable the default. I also was unhappy with this and doing this solved my problem.

Hissae2,

Could you elaborate on this a little? This sounds really interesting, but I'm not understanding it. How would having the posts in the trash in one board make it possible to move them back to their original board enmasse or move them in bulk to another board even if they aren't in the trash?

Hi Zed,

You can create a new forum and set the permissions up so that only staff and administrators can view it (and the contents), and disable posting abilities for the forum itself. This will establish the section as a 'read-only' forum and will serve as an alternative to the trash can.

You can also set up an automated moderation tool titled 'Trash Topic' that sends any topics that it is applied on to the trash. :)

Let me know if you need me to explain this more.

By board I mean section of the site, not a completely new one. Basically what Liam said. Sorry if that was confusing.

This way you can move them back to wherever they were the way you would move topics from one part of the site to another.
