Hey guys! Hopefully someone will answer this time round compared to my last topic here lol ![]() Anyway, I'm working on a theme that I'm doing the coding for, but I'll be asking an artist to do some custom artwork for it. This is an attempt to make my site look more 'professional' to my members and I, more like a gaming site than a forum, but still very obviously a forum-based RPG. So... how would you go about figuring out what you would want an artist to work on? How would you work out how to place it all? I see this as being a little different from working with a graphics expert, though I've not really done that before so maybe some/all the same things apply? Things I can think of are seperate button designs for the submenu, and the background, which would also serve as the logo area probably, forum markers and all the usual buttons. Maybe even the topic icons and such too... Any suggestions or advice? Thanks. |
