Title for reference.

Is there a way to create a code that auto-refreshes my forum? I have seen examples on websites such as Bungie.net where users have made scripts (for browsers) which auto-refresh forums, but I was wondering if there was a way to do this with a simple code.

Yeah, but it hasn't been done through Java yet. JavaScript maybe, but not Java. If you created the code using Java, you could actually update the topic at the exact time somebody posts, instead of running of the server's bandwidth every 30 seconds...

So is it possible for one of you to code the script for Java? Like I said, I've seen it been done on other forums, so it can't be impossible.

Here's the JavaScript version: http://resources.zetaboards.com/single/?p=8199090&t=5081077

Still somewhat impractical.
