It would be really handy if there was a way to log the IP information of all visitors to the site. It would be interesting so you could see where a lot of your visitors are coming from and also a way to note if any previously banned users have come back. :)

I'd also like a way to actually show search engines AS search engines, not just guests like you can do with phpBB. :)

Both of that suggestions are good, but honestly I do not think that IP logs of all visitors ever will be added. You could change the Active Users List to show who visited Your board during lastest 24 hours, but then again this is somewhat a spying users. From the other side usergroups controlled feature who can see/use Active Users List would be handy - You could set that 24 hours, and just You would be able to see it.

As for the second suggestion this is also good suggestion however not for this time. Until a feature that will allow hide usergroups from Active Users List, this feature is useless.

Brandon might do it you never know. And I didn't realise I could change the time for active users. However the most it can be set too is 2 hours, not 24 unless there's a secret button I don't know about. :)

It's not that I want to *spy* either, I explained why I wanted this function and why I thought it would be a good idea. Spying didn't come into it. :)

If you have a domain then you can use google analytics which will give you information on who visits your site such as country where they live, specs regarding their computers, internet connection speed and where they found a link to your board.

Go to the following link to sign up if you are interested.

Thanks very much!! That's brilliant. :)

Hmmm. Well I've added this lump of script the javascript of my site in board templates is that right? But I can't see anything to do with google anywhere. Should there be something? I've never done this before. Where do I see whose visited my site then?

It takes a while to start working I believe that and you have to click the blue button on that page to log in in order to see the info once it becomes available.

Yes, if You will disable javascript in Your browser You will be able to enter a value there, and set it to 24 hours instead of 2 hours.

Anyway, I did not said that You may want to use this against Your Members, I just wanted to point out that there is a possibility of overuse this.
