o yea, I beat you all! My system works perfect with two 3.6 ghz processers and my ATI X1800XT , you should see doom 3 on my comp!

Get with the times, Quake 4 is what it's all about now ;)

Quake 4 is like Doom 3 but better. Mae by the same company (Id) and runs on an improved version of the Doom 3 game engine.

Basicially: it makes me happy.

And my brothers building a comp soon with 2 Athalon 2600s, I think. I can't remember the full specs on it :S

To tell you the truth I can run BF2 fine with my computer.  Full graphics and everything.

O_o No you can't. I had a less than generic 128 Mb card on my old PC. There was no way in hell I could run BF2 at full specs. Then you have the fact that even my 7800GT can't run it at full Antialiasing. To run BF2 at full specs even the company recommends a 256Mb card and at least a Gig of RAM. I'm not even playing it now because one of my sticks of RAM died and I only have 512mb. So you can claim you can run it at full specs with your "128mb generic crap" but trust me...you can't.

I got the gig of ram along with PCI-E graphics slot. Therefore I can run it just fine its just a little sluggish with full everything. So I keep it at default and it runs fine.

I never said you couldn't run it at all. You said you could run it "full graphics and everything." Now you've changed to default. I could run it with default, but running it at full specs is what it is known for. Half of what makes that game so good is how spectacular it looks. I could run it with a 128mb card, but at full specs...no.

The extra bandwidth offered by PCI-E makes absolutely no difference to performance over AGP 8x. *-)

And 128MB implies you're probably running something around a GeForce 6600-6800 since we're talking PCI-E? If you cranked up anti-aliasing, anistropic filtering, resolution and performance settings to max I can assure you, it would be more than a little sluggish. ;)

On BF2, the crapper settings give you the advantage, so you don't need a powerful graphics cards to pwn everyone.

You can I run it with 512mb RAM and a 128mb (20 quid) Graphics card and it runs adequetly. Its not terrible but you really do need to get on a server with a low ping for it to run perfect :D
