Not sure if this is related to the servers being down earlier, but we are now getting the following message if we don't post within a minute:

Your request timed out. Please retry the request.

I've tried it on another S4 board, and it does the same.
For my forum, it's doing this on the ACP too whenever I need to fill out a form such as creating a new group or editing the Rules

Usually resolved by pressing refresh though

It just did it again here. It's getting on my nerves now.

It's a very annoying problem, so I'm not surprised it's frustrating you guys.

Continue to let us know what's affecting you.

I too have the problem with the request time out on my S13 board.

Getting "Your request has timed out" quite a lot on s4 forums, and received it a few minutes ago here as well.

And now my board seems to be offline, even though the server status page says s4 is online.

Nevermind. It's up now.

I find that when I try to answer a support ticket, it gives me that message of d00m. :glare:

For those just tuning in, be sure to copy the contents of your post to your clipboard before you post. In the event you get the time out message, simply hit 'Back' on your browser and try the post again. This has been a great work-around for me so far.

For me, I can just reload and it will post what I wanted without a DP

You shouldn't even need to copy it if you use the back button. I did it when posting a topic, and the contents were still there (I just had to put in the title again).

Still, just because there is a somewhat easy solution, this still needs to be fixed ASAP.

Some browsers don't save the information if you head back a page. Good browsers do... but I can't say that everyone uses one of those. :P
