This is that "demand from ZetaBoards users" that certain Moderator mentioned not long time ago .Please release this feature for all ZetaBoards boards. It is a great feature that can be used as a communication between Members and all Staff. I do not think that I should mention how useful it can be for Admins, because almost everyone here know that. |

Partly because it is buggy. And the current system can only support one Personal Ticket forum per board. So it's essentially an unfinished feature. |

It was more buggy in the past, when ZetaBoards support had its own forum. Users were able to read the content of Personal Support Tickets simply by accessing "All posts of this user". This has been changed right before the merge of IF and ZB support forums, and as of now I am not aware about another possibility to read the content of them. Therefore I can say that it is at least enough finished to be ready to be released. Sure, limit of 1 such a forum per board can be eventually a pain eventually but it don't need to be. This may be optionally fixed in the nexts ZetaBoards upgrades. As of now users will be glad that they may have 1 of them. Better is having one "personal" forum for the board than having 0. With 1 such a board I am able to run both competitions, answer questions "why my account is not upgraded yet" or "why have you deleted my signature". I do not need for that separate "personal forums". ![]() I hope this feature will be released, even if as for now (and possibly for ever) given board would have just 1 such a forum. |

Like Nemo said, one is better than none and one can easily server the purpose for everything we might need. I don't see why it can't be shared for those of us that want to use it, since you have it available and everything. |

Orly? =P I think Brandon's probably the only one who can genuinely make that call. He's got the back-end access, he can see exactly what happens as far as the Ticket system forum goes. Just because he's managed to secure it enough against being searched doesn't necessarily mean that there might not be other subtle security implications. Brandon's not one for holding back on features that are ready and there have been a looooot of upgrades and updates since the Ticket forum was set up. I imagine he has good reasons for keeping it to himself. |

I think/hope no one is going to use this for sharing any financial et cetera information. Therefore even if it may include some security holes, and then some smart users will be able to read the content of it, majority of users will not be able. It is worth to have such a forum for boards even if 1 Member among 100 or 1000 will be able to monitor that forum's activity. That "spying" will not hurt the board at all. |

Quick question: isn't Personal Support Ticket section is essentially a forum in which only you see your own thread? It sound like it is possible to make that yourself with the standard forum settings, or if not, by slight upgrades to them. Not that I'm against the idea, of course. When I first saw this thread, I thought it was talking about having the regular support ticket feature available for communications from a board to another. |

Haha, I was thinking more along the lines of possible exploits by crafty coding sods. I daren't think about people being silly enough to post that kind of sensitive information; I've only just gotten my faith back in humanity. =lol But yeah, that's more what I was pondering. Good to hear it's planned though. It's a pretty nifty feature. ^-^ |
