Board Address: Private Board Software: Zetabords Description: I want to make a little quiz like this. Everytime my members come to my board, they will be directed to other page (still in my board though, maybe from website maker or so) and they have to type the password. Kinda like how you have to type a password before you go to some protected forum. So is this possible to have password-protected thingy in website maker and direct it to my board? |

You would have to rely on a PHP/MySQL solution as JavaScript is too easy to bypass, meaning you would need a host that supports those applications. |

I think he basically wants to password protect his board every time someone first accesses it, so basically they have to insert their password to see the board, although this in a way is already a feature by allowing a group to not view the board and they must be logged in to see it, but I think he wants it regardless if they're logged in. |

Right I'm sorry if this isn't clear before, Quozzo! Yeah, just like the login one, yet this is a password instead.
Means it is not possible if I don't have a host? |

That's exactly what it means, unfortunately. And even more unfortunately, those types of code requests aren't really done here. Your best option is to just find a pro coder that you know and ask them to do some private work for you, and hopefully they will.

This request was deemed impractical by our code team. This could mean that the feature you have requested is impossible to write, requires PHP and/or hosting, or requires too many AJAX requests. If you have any questions about why this request is not practical, feel free to contact a member of the code team. |
