RDB is the best thing since sliced bread. But please add more resources for premium customers. I bought another month just for this feature <3 'Tis a winner.

We have several themes still to add. And there will be at least 2 exclusive themes added by the end of the month. ;)

What do You mean by "exclusive"? After RDB will drop to all the boards, some themes will be Premium exclusive?

I would like to thank everyone that was involved in getting this setup. I have been anticipating the arrival of the RDB ever since I heard about it and it's basically just what I envisioned. Users can install themes with ease now, and I have a request pending with Reid that will make themes on ZNR be installed quicker with just a few clicks of a mouse to install the images instead of doing it manually, so if that pulls through users will never again have to download a zip file, upload images and install them manually.
That would be AWESOME. :) Especially since uploading and changing the images is a bit confusing and time-consuming for some folks.

If Cory's idea doesn't pan out, I do know that better image uploading is high on Brandon's priority list for the RDB. Because the RDB is NOT solely limited to themes and modifications. There are plans to make all sorts of items available via the RDB to help board owners. :)

I would think adding a image pack to the themes in the RDB wouldn't be too difficult too once the base of the system is done (which I assume to be the case already, since it's being used by some boards). Something like when you add the theme, the image pack is automatically installed would be amazing.

The only problem comes in when an image pack doesn't contain all images (like the Misc. Images). When we add them manually, we can leave the defaults or use another image from somewhere. That seems like it might be difficult to do/manipulate if the image pack is auto-added.

If I remember correctly, Viral made a script that allows to multiupload images through URL links. If his script would be added, adding images to themes really would be a case of few mouse clicks.

His script required AJAX access to the ACP, which stopped working when the ACP address was changed in that one update for security reasons.
That said, presumably a better system is coming when the RDB gains that functionality.

I've been waiting for something like the RDB for years ever since I joined the ZB community. This sounds and looks epic! I can't wait to experience it on my board when it's fully released. :)

Hope this includes something in the way of bigger uploads. It's kind of a pain to split up a graphics pack into multiple folders in order to upload them to ZB. Also helps to keep those files off unreliable things like megaupload.

A tag like Brandon made for owners of boards that are specifically for creating and testing codes would be nice.
