I played and beat Morrowind, but only got a bit through Oblivion. By the time I had started it the game was old news and not eventful to anyone - I got bored of it in exchange for newer ones. I really should start playing again after Skyrim. :P

Wouldn't you get stuck on a wall or cliff?

Not if you do it indoors.
You go to an inn and go behind the innkeeper, crouch, and start walking backwards (you'll run in to a wall). You rubber band the controller so it keeps walking backwards. An hour later, you have level 60 sneak with ~0 effort on your part. xD
(I checked in on it every 10 minutes or so because sometimes the NPCs would readjust and I'd be discovered so I might have to move a bit and then have it continue again. But for the most part I didn't have to do a thing.)

My way to get sneak up faster took a bit more effort, but it was in the middle of a thieves guild quest that I needed higher sneak to accomplish anything in anyway. Basically I took the throw voice shout, hid in a corner, and kept sending the bandits out where I told them to go and just stood in that corner while they searched for me. :P

So looking through this thread, not many people have said what system they're actually playing on. Myself, I play it on a 360. I really wish I had it for the computer though, because then I'd never have to really worry about another stupid bug hindering me from certain quests. :P

I'm waiting for them to fix the ps3 lag issue before I start playing it.

I'm on PS3 and didn't really start to notice the lag until recently.
I mean, I knew it lagged sometimes while I was playing, but usually only when I'd been on the machine for hours so I figured it was that.
But now when I first open my file everything I do is super laggy.

And all my dragons fly backwards right now. They also don't die. T-T
Soooo... fun times.

Earlier I was fighting a blood dragon and a dead blood dragon spawned in front of me. lolwut.

Yeah, it happens when PS3 saves get so large. It was something to do with the divided memory that the PS3 has that the Xbox doesn't. :P

Does anyone have the official guide? Is it worth it/necessary? Is there a better spot online?

I wouldn't waste money on the official guide.
Any questions/problems I have, I google and it's answered fairly quickly. xD

Agreed, Google has been and will forever be my game guide for every game. But I can't speak for the other side since I've never owned a game guide myself. :P
