Board Address: www.shadowstars.co.uk Board Software: zetaboards Description: Need a code that can allow certain groups to easily update the leaderboard. Needs to be able to add a certain amount of points and many other things to the leaderboard. I just want a quicker alternative instead of going into admin cp and editing it. click here to view an example of the leaderboard: http://shadowstars.co.uk/pages/shlb11/ Do your best and don't rush yourself. I know that thanksgiving is tomorrow for americans, so try your best! |

Giving Website Manager access to the members you wish to edit the page would probably be your best solution. A code can probably be created for this, but with JavaScript alone it probably wouldn't be stable enough and unless you listed usernames in a code manually and updated it every time a new member was put in the group, it would require AJAX from the members list to determine what user is in a group, and AJAX requests from the member list is restricted. I'm not sure how data is edited with JavaScript from HTML on a page like that, but it would probably require something fairly complex and, as mentioned, not stable enough. You would probably need a PHP/MySQL solution for stability. |
