Hello,

I was wondering, does anyone know something about Spoono Host? http://www.spoonohost.com/

I was told it's a good host company, but I'm still not sure about it. Does anyone know it or used it here?

Any information would be gladly appreciated. :)

That's what I thought, but they're a new company so maybe that's why the prices are so low? :S

And then when they get more customer's they'll find themselves needing to oversell. The server will become slow and you'll need to change hosts.

They have no publicly viewable testimonials, that's why I wouldn't trust them ;)

Sure you do. New host, unproven in the market, extremely low prices which will lead to overselling. Varhosting is a good choice, or poke my sig.

How do you know this without trying them out? I'm not trying to say they are a good host I'm just saying they aren't nessisarily a bad one either. My host http://revelhosting.com is a great host that I been with forever. I didn't go into huge depth to figure out how well they serve, you just have to take chances sometimes. And I'm glad I took that one.

Spoono oversells a lot more than Revel. Revel's $9.95 plan is 1GB storage and 20GB bandwidth. Spoono's $8.75 plan is 2GB storage and 100GB bandwidth. If someone were to actually use all of that 100GB... and I know some people who could, the rest of the server may lose speed.

What's so wrong about using phpBB? :ermm:
VARhosting use's Simple Machines which is also a free pre-installed script but they are trustworthy.
