Mini- First iPod I had.
Shuffle- Got it for my Bar Mitzvah as a present.
Video- Had tons of Best Buy Gift Cards from my Bar Mitzvah, and that is what I wanted.

It does scratch easily, but they can only be seen under direct light.

Yeah.

By the way everyone, if you want some really nice cases, go to www.iskin.com. They are excellent cases, I got one for my Video and it is excellent.

I don't have one, and I don't plan to get one. iPods in my opinion are very overrated. They are no better than some of the other MP3 players I've found...they're actually worse. For example, you can only upload songs from one computer. Also, it makes you use iTunes, meaning that I have to switch from Windows Media Player (plus I hate iTunes). And also, it doesn't play WMA files...which pisses me off, because that's what a lot of my songs are. I found a Samsung MP3 player for almost the same price as the Nano ($229, only a little more), but it holds 5GB of songs, plays 3 or 4 formats (can't remember which ones), has color, has a photo viewer thing, and basically everything else the Nano has, but you don't need iTunes, it plays more formats, and it isn't so small that you could crush it by sitting on it. :P

Do me a favor, and read this article. Tell me if you think the Nano could be crushed by sitting on it after that.

I have a 4GB iPod Mini, I cann't even believe it still works, I've dropped it so many times before now the white casing at the top where the hold button is popped off.

Try riding your bike down a hill doing a wheelie then drop your iPod and see if it still survives. :P

Well I don't know about that article, but a friend of mine did crush it by sitting on it...it still works I think (not sure), but it doesn't look too pretty. :/

4th Gen 20GB... It still works great but I want to trade it in for a nano. Problem is, I have my name engraved on the back. :ermm:

If I were to get one, I'd get the Nano, because it's the cheepest. :D I really don't see what's so special about the iPod Video...who wants to watch a video on a square-inch screen?
