hahahahahaha....Bad religion, easily. Old offspring was ok, nothing great, but not horrible....new offspring is laughable, truly... Bad Religion is legendary, and for good reason. Theyre not my favorite punk band, but theyre up there, and theyre one of the best imo. NO Substance is an awesome song. Queensryche V. Porcupine Tree |

I used to live in silence, I used to sleep in silence. Now all I hear is a marching of soldiers in my head.

hmmm....so, i just realized....by the first few replies...that alot of people probably arent going to know what some bands are like....so i suppose itd be best to give a link to their site, or any site that has a music clip/download on it? just a thought...>_> for instance, for mine (porcupine tree v queensryche) http://porcupinetree.com/music/music_player.cfm thats a link to a sampler of their deadwing album, which has clips form every song on the album. (i have the original version, so i odnt have so called friend or half light theyre good too)http://www.queensryche.com/releases/index.html click an album, and on the side it should have audio links. |

Nirvana ![]() Sonic youth and Dinosaur jr. are very similar, both have brilliant frontmen. Sonic youth was more popular, probably. Change it up a little, battle of the old school rap bands. Public enemy vs. Run DMC |

Run DMC. It was much more "Dancey", to me, anyway. Queen Or Marillion? Not amazingly similar... but close enough. ![]() |
