I made the switch from Proboards to IF several years ago. I only recently started coding my own skins, and I can say that I am annoyed we have 20,000 max characters for the board wrappers (header portion, if its just limited to that). I can't have as many affiliates as other sites, mainly proboards, and I can't use tables while also hosting sidebars because of the "character limit". Its extremely frustrating that I have to cut things short on my site so I can accommodate this (seemingly) ridiculously low max. char. count. Is there ANY way to increase it? I do not want to convert to ZB. I made a test board and disliked it greatly. Is there anyway that we IF users could possibly have things fixed? We're consumers too, even if the board generator is free. However, I can definitely say I may make a move to a different host if I am constantly told that I can't add so many characters to my board wrappers. I hate making short cuts to work around it - it doesn't flow nearly as well. |

Hello, basically there is a possibility to increase the max amount of characters for Board Wrapper from 20k to 50k by purchasing ZetaBoards Premium. But since You don't like ZB, I am afraid that it is not for You. However You may use a trick explained there. |
