Ever noticed that after editing a poll option the bbcodes url & img stos working? This should solve the bug.

It needs to be done on td.c_poll-choice as well. I have never seen '(?!javascript:)' and I don't think it's necessary. I'm not sure if it applies here but once RedBldSandman recommended '(.+?)' be used for a RegEx match, that's what I personally use, but I'm sure what is suppose to be used applies to what is trying to be done. I'm no RegEx expert, it's one of my weak spots in coding. |

Any javascript events in the tag needed to be prefixed with `javascript:` but that is no longer the case. instead the event with the javascript to run can be inserted as an attribute so detecting the 'javascript' in the regex is not enough. `\[url\]([^'"]*?)\[\/url\]` and `\[url=([^'"]*)\](.*)\[\/url\]` should be used instead although the latter is not ungreedy so i would change that as errors might occur. events in the tag are inserted like attributes so `onClick='alert("hi"); return false;'` would be an event that someone might maliciously insert into a poll The `^` means `not` so it will select any character that is `not` `"` or `'` Edited by Quozzo, Apr 10 2012, 11:38 AM.
