I was going to request multiple codes, but it says that we aren't supposed to do that. So.. How do you change the thread/topic bar to orange? (Ignore the other questions in the pic since I can't ask for multiple) ![]() Emoticon Request Edited by ApexPalace, Apr 29 2012, 12:47 PM.

This techinically is not a modification it would be considered a theme change... In your Admin CP scroll down on the left and click the "Themes" link right above the "Board Template" link. When the page loads click "Edit Theme Appearance". Again when the page loads click in the big text box with all of the code in it and then press "Ctrl" + "F" at the same time. A window will pop up somewhere asking you what you want to search for. Type in "#top". The search result will look for the first "#top" in the long code, but you need to find the one that just says "#top" with a "{" immediately after. After the first opening/left parenthesis find where it says "background:url(http://z5.ifrm.com/static/1/css/dropli.png) repeat-x top #586eb1;" and get rid of the "url(http://....png)" part so it looks like this: "background:repeat-x top #586eb1;". Then change "#586eb1" to whatever color you want it to be. Like this: "background:repeat-x top orange;". Hope that helps if it was too complicated I'm sure somebody else will help or I can explain it better, just ask.

Remove that strip from your CSS to remove the top bar. On that strip, change the background line to the following to make the bar orange: Also change the border-bottom hex code to #E77700. Now locate the #top_menu strip and remove the background and border lines, and remove the background line from the .drop_menu li strip. Add that to your CSS to make the topic headers orange. What do you wish to do with the submenu? Add a background and border? |
