I'm very excited to announce, that I've done something extra cool in CSS for IF v1.3 for the advanced skinners.

As you know, PWND! and I have been working on all the cool tricks we can using only CSS to make skins better.

Tomorrow sometime I will be posting an example of, and a documention of how to have a gradient on both left, right, and bottom of the tableborder that can work with all lengths of forums, and retain the darkrow2 if needed.

Essentially, the new grad areas are:

.tableborder (left)
.tableborder (right)
.tableborder (bottom)

and you keep:

.maintitle
.darkrow2

This, when perfected, will allow you to "wrap around" your maintitle and connect it to a flipped version of itself, to appear to "contain" the forum list inside an object.

I'm very excited to see what some of the good skinners can do with our infomration - I think skins just opened up to step it up a notch just before IF2 comes out. I can assure you, we'll find all the coolest tricks for that one as well.

Oh yeah, and this hack is all CSS so it loads incredibly fast. Expect a documentation tomorrow.

Thanks Trank for asking me to find a solution for this - the more you guys ask what I can find, the more I can find it!

It sounds really cool, but I hope that not all skins from now on will be that way. My prgram's not that great, so I might have a hard time making borders around a category like that.

i tried this a while ago, but using a completely different method, however, i found one major problem with mine, it didn't work around the board statistics :( so i didnt carry it on, its nice to see that someone else thought of doing it though, hopefully yours will be alot better, shouldn't be hard though lol.

You only make one image for the borders and such, you won't have a problem. ;)
