Hmm... I heard that they lowered the passing marks again. That's why all those mediocre students got such high scores. I'm from Johore, JB to be exact

Why should you be rewarded, especially such a huge amount, for something that you should be doing in the first place? I find it sad that people feel others have to be motivated by money to get good grades. No offense to your aunt and mother, but I think they are being a tad rediculous. |

It is not always so easy to obtain these grades for some people, and since you do not know the situation, you can't determine what is appropriate and is what is not for good grade rewards. For God's sake, don't ruin a thread meant to congratulate someone. The reward is irrelevent regardless. It's the accomplishment that counts. The reward is entirely up to those involved. |

I don't see why people need to be paid for education that they should do well in anyway, also it shows a bit of bad parenting, setting them up for good things in life (such as doing good in a job) but not getting an award as expected IMO. @zorg, true but as long as you try your hardest then that's all you can do. ![]() But, congratulations on the grades anyway. |

LOL here money is a good bribe. My friends all get that amount too. So when I got one A i was like .. wtf who cares .. you can keep your damn money. I mean like .. even the schools here pay you to get good grades. I swear in malaysia it's like a race on who can get the most A's which REALLY in the long run isn't important |

Have fun with that cash, I agree with Camo when your younger thats ok IMO but when your older you need to get used to what it'll be like in the real world by yourself. |
