One thing I've thought would be if like here the code tags were scrollable in forums.. I notice that if the code tags are used here, we can scroll it and the code stays within screen size.. in my forum anyway using the code tags won't add a scroll on the box surrounding any code, so there's little point using it on bigger codes as we still have to scroll the page.. it'd be good to have it so the code tags fitted inside screen width/height and we scrolled that instead of the page up/down.. Knowing me, my description is as clear as mud.. hopefully someone understands what I'm getting at and can say if it's do-able or not... |

There's some CSS that has to be added to each theme I believe to do this, and most themes don't add it because most people don't know what it is (myself included). It would be great to know what it is though. |

Here's what we add to the themes on ZNR to keep code blocks from stretching the screen, add scroll bars, and keep the formatting:

This will fix the width: http://resources.zetaboards.com/topic/5128610/1/ A note about setting the white-space to 'pre': It will cause codes to be compacted when copying them in Internet Explorer, so the solution is to set the white-space back to normal in Internet Explorer, which can be accomplished with the following snippet:
