Board Address: S1.Zetaboards.com/alternia Board Software: (Zetaboards Description: Its gunna be hard for me to describe but I have examples of exactly what it does. I'm getting this code from another Forum site that isn't affiliated with Zetaboards and I have no unholy clue as to how to make it work for my site.
What it looks like on a forum is this: Sample1 Sample2 Basically I wanted to see if we could get a custom script that allows us to create basically what's in the picture using a code identical to this one. |

It looks as if the CD BBCode simply parses CSS, there is already a BBCode in place that can do something similar to this effect, it's the class BBCode. It's integrated like this:You can then style the content wrapped around the class BBCode with CSS inserted via the Admin CP: As you may have noticed, when using the class in the CSS, it must be prefixed with 'bbcode-'. |

The thing is the Zetaboard's class BBcode doesn't sound what your looking for. Well I made it for you using this code so thanks for the OP of the code. I haven't tested it so let me know if I've done anything wrong Below the board (has to be at the top)

I'm sorry...I have no idea what either of you are saying. I have absolutely NO experience with coding anything. So just looking at what you two posted made me feel like I just walked into a room of people speaking in different languages. @Ferby I posted the code in below the board and tested it with the example I posted but it didn't work. I have no idea what to do. |

I wouldn't externally host what you provided in that script, Ferby. I don't think Xanikseo intended for that script to be re-hosted. A BBCode doesn't really require that much JavaScript, here's a different version I just put together with a lot less JavaScript: Admin CP Themes Board Template Below the BoardWhat the CD BBCode you posted does is allows CSS to be used in posts with BBCode. CSS is what is used to style webpages. The CD BBCode values are CSS properties and values that are written out in BBCode form and then give the specific element that style. CSS can be internal, inline (embedded) and external. Inline CSS is written to HTML elements directly with the style tag: Internal (embedded) CSS is written in between the style tags: That type of CSS is inserted here and will affect all themes: Admin CP Themes Board Template JavascriptsExternal CSS is provided by ZetaBoards itself and affects only one theme, it is what is written here: Admin CP Themes Themes Edit Theme AppearanceThe inline example will give a background of red to that span element only. The internal (embedded) and external examples will give a background of red to all span elements. The BBCode I created above uses inline CSS. You just have to write the CSS in the prompt that appears when you click the BBCode button and the content that is within the BBCode will be styled with that CSS when posted. |

I apologise, I naturally assumed since I didn't see any note saying he didn't like it being re-hosted. I've deleted the file now |

I'm still not getting it to work. I have the CSS button as an option when you post, but I don't know how to post the content into it. If I post it in the block that shows, it just posts it all broken up and doesn't show the stuff like in the picture links. I put the big code in the below the board section. Was there something I missed? I keep testing the initial example I posted cause I'm tryin to get that effect in regular forum posts. I get this instead in code form I'm really sorry if I'm being difficult. |

I changed the BBCode to css instead of cd, so anywhere you see cd you have to change it to css. It works just like the cd BBCode, only it uses 'css' instead. |
