Once a month I pay $5 to remove the ads from my InvisionFree forum. I've been doing it for several months, and the ads would go away right afterwards. Well, this morning, I payed to remove them again, and hours later they still haven't gone away. This is so annoying, I feel like I have been ripped off. I did exactly what I always do to remove the ads, didn't do anything different, and yet they won't go away. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Thanks in advance. |

Hey There, Your best bet would be to submit a support ticket from your ACP, and informing them that you indeed payed for ad removal. ![]() Good Luck!

Wondering the same as I have been waiting for a credit from my payment on 9/19 and three payments today? I thought it would be instant as before... but only one of the five have worked of the since 9/19 worked, I feel like I'm being ignored? I have made several support tickets and pleaded and begged for this to be fixed ... very disappointed. Maybe I should start my own post? HELP |

Paypal are usually supposed to activate Ad Removal automatically. However, they are currently not doing this, and so we now have to get Brian to activate every Ad Removal purchase manually. We can't do anything to fix the issue Paypal has caused as it is their fault and on their end. All we can do is make Brian aware of any tickets that are sent for him to deal with when he next comes online until Paypal sort the problem out. So we are not trying to rip anyone off nor anything else of the sort. The delay in activations is just a compromise that can not be avoided that we would prefer didn't exist just as much as everyone else. This announcement explains the issue that is currently occurring: http://if.invisionfree.com/topic/5157323/ Edited by Moonface, Oct 9 2012, 07:05 AM.

How often does Brian "come online"? It's been a few days. I'm wondering how far in advance I need to purchase ad removal credits going forward to make sure my credits don't run out in the future. |

Generally Brian is online most Monday to Friday. It's rare to see him online at weekends, so if anyone has been waiting over the weekend without much response that will be the reason. He is currently going through the backlog of Ad Removal's so hopefully anyone who has been waiting since the weekend or beforehand will get dealt with either today or in the next few days, depending on how much there is for Brian to get through and how long he is online for to get through it. Of course I can not guarantee what Brian will and will not get through as that comes down entirely to what he is personally capable of.

I've been waiting 6 days to have the ads removed and yes I'm very disappointed that its taking so long. Something like this should be address immediately especially since we're paying money for them to be removed. I feel like I've been cheated out of $30 for the last 6 days. It shouldn't take this long to turn off the ads. I don't know what the activation process is but it can't be anything more that clicking a few buttons. This need to be address and fixed immediately so customers don't have to beg and plead with Brian to do this and if he can't get the job done, maybe you should consider finding other sources! |

Hi Liam, There isn't a ticket ID # associate with the support request. The date listed is Oct 21, 0208AM GMT. The forum is Channel SMAP. Because its almost Friday again and Brian isn't online on the weekends, I'll have to deal with these ads all weekend again? I'm so disappointed in Invisionfree admin. I am truly being ignored right now. Out of $30 for nothing! I've had my forum one month short of 5 years ad-free. I'm mortified! Edited by Megumisan, Oct 26 2012, 11:13 AM.
