I just posted a reply in the "categories not showing" thread to make you aware I am still having troubles even after doing the permission mask, and it seems it was deleted or SOMETHING! Please help me correct this problem...My cateogories still are not showing, nor is my sub board.

Your post was trashed because you already have a support ticket open on the issue in which you have received a response, and you were informed in a prior topic you made you do not need to create a topic for your issue when you already have a ticket open. http://if.invisionfree.com/topic/5157330/1

However as you opt to use a topic over your ticket after already being informed, I'll help you here rather than sending you to your ticket. If the issue is the text on your category headers is not appearing, try this solution:

In your Admin CP click on the link entitled Manage Style Sheets and find the section that reads:
Code:

.maintitle { vertical-align:middle;font-weight:bold; color:#FFF; letter-spacing:1px; padding:8px 0px 8px 5px; background-image: url(http://209.85.12.234/style_images/1/tile_back.gif) }

And replace it with the following:
Code:

.maintitle { vertical-align:middle;font-weight:bold; color:#FFF; letter-spacing:1px; padding:8px 0px 8px 5px; background-image: url(http://209.85.62.23/style_images/1/tile_back.gif) }

This will allow the image in your category headers to load correctly and allow the text to become visible.

Partially, now why isn't the suboards showing on the front page to let members know there's a sub board attached to the forum?

Do you mean you wish for your sub-forums to display on the board index similar to how sub-forums on this support forum do, such as in our Feedback area which has both a ZetaBoards and InvisionFree sub-forum? If so, that is a feature of ZetaBoards, something InvisionFree doesn't offer this by default unfortunately. However, I did find this code which can list the sub-forums on your index for you - http://resources.zetaboards.com/topic/5075087/1 :)

Alternatively, you can place this into the forum description of the area that has sub-forums:
Code:

<a href="URL OF SUB FORUM" target="_self">SUBFORUM NAME HERE</a>

Yes, that's what I mean. Thanks for the code. I've saved it in my favorites and will add it to my forum. Have a great day my friend.

You're welcome. If you didn't see, I also supplied an alternate version that doesn't require a code and just adds a piece of HTML to the end of your forum description. :)

Oh I'll do that because I am wondering what to put in for the subboard ID? So I will just do the alternate.
Hey,hey,hey........it worked! Thanks a million!
