Board Address: Portal/Homepage, Index
Board Software: ZetaBoards
Description: Okay... Here's the problem... Using code from inspecting an element on my forum index, I made a forum theme chooser widget for my portal with a few minor tweaks. Everything works the way it's supposed to. Problem is, I want it to redirect straight to the portal rather than the index when someone selects a theme. I don't know how to do that. I think the problem's in the select id that's redirecting me elsewhere. I need some code to override the redirection part so it goes straight to the portal instead. Thanks! :)

Here's the code I'm using:
Code:

<div>
<table cellspacing="0" id="foot" class="tableclass">
<tr>
<td id="foot_themechooser">
<form ="http://s6.zetaboards.com/Guardiavoir_Forums/site/">
<label for="setskin">Choose a theme:</label>
<select name="setskin" id="setskin">
<option value="">Choose a theme...</option>
<option value="1201132">Guardian's Green</option>
<option value="1201152">Guardian's iPad</option>
<option value="1201151">Unmolten Steel</option>
<option value="1201153">Unmolten Galaxy SIII</option>
<option value="1631">Gem Garden</option>
<option value="1201154">Gem VAIO Duo 11</option>
</select>
</form>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
Choosing a theme will redirect you back to the forum index.</div>

The Redirection part is embedded into the ZB internal coding which we can't change. The entire `select` menu could be redone though to do it. Its late right now so don't expect anything from me right now. I'll see what I can do tomorrow

Set your homepage to go to the portal, and then include a link to get onto the main forums. Problem solved. xD

The homepage was already set to the portal. However, removing the "/site/" part from the link in the code did help the redirection. Weird part is that although it sends me back to the portal, it doesn't change the theme.

I'll give some help here to solve the problem if anyone can. Its best to rewrite the code itself then edit the one in place. The reason of that being is because you can't rewrite the internal JS. If you rewrite it then you wouldn't have any problems. I found this hard to do myself but thats probably because I ain't a master at JS xD

Could you code it for me, then? I'm not great with scratch coding if it doesn't evolving copying most of it from an inspected element...

This request has gone a lengthy period of time without any new activity, therefore it is being marked as expired. This means that the request was typically too time-consuming or irritating for coders (who provide this service voluntarily in their free time) to complete.

Thank you.
